FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Do I need to be referred from my GP?

Whilst some clients are referred/recommended by their GP, it is not essential. Appointments can be booked directly.

  • What should I bring to my appointment?

For initial consultation, you may wish to bring a pair of shorts with you to change into if it is a lower limb complaint. You will need to undress appropriately so that the area of your complaint can be assessed properly ie for a shoulder problem removal of top half clothing, for a back problem removal of clothing to underwear. Privacy and decency will always be observed.

Gait Analysis/Shoe Prescription: Shorts (NOT track pants or leggings) so that your legs and waist can be clearly seen, a top (preferably fitted) and your running shoes (if you have any). It is very useful to see what you have been/are running in.

If you use orthotics, bring these along too, if applicable.

  • How do I pay?

Cash or cheque only, at the time of your appointment. There are NO card facilities on-site.

  • What if i can't make my appointment?

If you are unable to attend for any reason, please call Suzette Soper on 07961 896 818 as soon as possible. It is not a problem to reshedule, life happens! But please note that non-attendance or cancellations with less than 24hrs notice are chargeable.
